JCPL to host ‘Launching Your Own Business’ WorkshopRural Entrepreneur Network Director will host two sessions at Trafalgar Branch.

TRAFALGAR, Ind. – Johnson County Public Library’s Trafalgar Branch will be hosting Launching Your Own Business, a workshop for residents who are considering starting or who have just started small businesses. There will be two sessions on Tuesday, February 9: the first from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and the second from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Launching Your Own Business is an informative, hands-on workshop from the Indiana Small Business Development Center that provides tools to help participants identify the best strategies for success.The instructor, Jim Roudebush, has been training and consulting with rural entrepreneurs all over Indiana for the past five years. He has also been a small-business owner in Indiana for over 19 years and holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance. Roudebush helps participants indentify their personal objectives, skills, and resources; understand entrepreneurial characteristics; describe business ideas and target groups; and evaluate business feasibility. Other topics include developing a business plan and fundraising.

“We are excited about bringing this proven workshop to the community of Trafalgar and those who live in Johnson County,” said Roudebush.
