Snow Storm Approaching Indiana

A conference call on the predicted snow was conducted by the NWS at 2:00 today, and the following information was made available.

The snow is expected to start after mid-night in SW Indiana, with it arriving in the Indianapolis area in the early morning hours. Both morning and evening rush hours will be affected. The Winter Storm Watch will be upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning.

Snow totals by Saturday afternoon are still expected to be in the 4-8 inch range for our area. Additionally, while this snow is expected to be a heavier, wetter snow, there will be winds from 10-35 mph, causing much blowing and drifting.
