Dorothy “Dot” Browne, 94, Franklin

Dorothy “Dot” Browne, 94, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at the Franklin United Methodist Community. 

 She was born on January 20, 1916 in Ellisburg, Kentucky to John Y. and Katherine S. (Ellis) Browne.  She was best mom to Floyd Peyton of Greenwood; best grandma to Rick Peyton (Denise) of Greenwood, Mike Peyton (Becky) of Springfield, OH; best great-grandma to Jack, Bobby, Stephanie, Ashley and Justin; best sister to Dimple McAnelly.  She was preceded in passing by her parents.

Dot worked at the Franklin Dairy Queen for over 30 years and to know her was to love her.
Rev. Richard Martin will conduct a service on FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Franklin United Methodist Community Wright Chapel. 

Friends may call from 1:00pm until the service time at the chapel. 

Burial will follow at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh.

Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements.
