Mark William Cummings, 41, Whiteland

Mark William Cummings, age 41, passed away on Friday evening, January 22, 2010 at his residence in Whiteland.  cummingsmarkpic-001

He was born on November 19, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Bill and Patty (Gregory) Cummings.  They lovingly survive in Whiteland.  Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Gregory of Franklin; Aunts, Carolynn Friddle of Franklin and Jean Walton of Shelbyville; Uncles, Bob (Carolyn) Gregory of Edinburgh, Rick (Jo) Gregory of Whiteland and Carl (Regina) Cummings of Columbus; and cousins, Gregory Morrow, Staci Hedges, Jeff Gregory, Tracie Camden, David Tunis, Brittany Carter, Stefan Cummings, Ann Garcia, Lisa Walton, Denise Lingenfelter and Lori Walton.  He was preceded in passing by his maternal grandfather, Ottis Gregory and paternal grandparents, Herrell and Helen Cummings.

Mark was one of the first students to attend Earlywood Education Center in Franklin.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Franklin.  Mark loved trees, balloons, windchimes and music.

 Rev. Jonathan Vierkant will conduct a service on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 4:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin.  Friends may call on Wednesday, January 27th from 2:00 p.m. to time of service at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.

Memorial contributions may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation and/or the American Lung Association.
